Fooding it

I have decided to start this blog by talking about the food I eat because as most people I know will tell you, I eat kinda crazy. And there is also that old saying, you are what you eat. Going with that, perhaps this will help introduce myself. I'll do my best to review whatever it is I eat, and throw in some other thoughts that stream from that. So..., let's do this!

Monday (8/27 Yesterday)

Lunch - Wendy's Spicy Chicken Combo
Nothing special here. I think I was going for healthy. Spicy? More like...weaky. I got the root beer without thinking and remembered something just now. Apparently, there exists somewhere root beer that makes fast food root beer taste like poo. Something that is not carbonated water and root beer syrup. Now, I never doubted the existence for good root beer. I just never gave it much of a thought. Need to get on finding that. Guessing it is at the Cola Cola HQ where the coke tastes different too.

Dinner - Ham Rice Thing
Ok so, I was given this wonderful bag of sliced ham leftovers over the weekend-ish, and I had no clue what to do with it. I had a craving for rice so I initially decided to try my hand at ham jambalaya. Noticing I had no stock to use, I improvised. I took frozen veggies and tossed it in with rice in rice cooker. Ding, rice done, sweet. Toss the ham in there with some chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Done, I have successfully made "Ham Rice Thing". It was fine to eat, just was missing something to make it amazing

Memo - Buy some stock

Which brings us to...

Tuesday (8/28)

Lunch - Tek Park's Steak and Cheese Quesadilla with Salsa and Fried Potato Hash
Steak and cheese was nothing to write home about (though, for the sake of the blog, pretend I didn't just say that). The steak I believe was something you feed school children in at lunch and call it "steak". You know, that cheap stuff they put in those school "philly cheesesteaks". Now that I think about it, that's exactly what it was. Salsa was interesting, tomato and onion. Could have used some garlic I suppose. Those fried potato hash browns were meh. No crunch for being put through a deep fryer, just grease. Wait till you see the expertise I will bring about deep frying stuff.

Dinner - Foreign Ramen!
Got home and did some Yoga for the first time in my life. That shit is crazy. So decided to bust out the ramen my mom brought from Taiwan. This thing was actually cool because the hot spice they put in it was different then the usual brand I get. Dropped an egg in there for extra protein. Can't go wrong with egg. So that's that...

Hello World

Hello Internet! I'm possibly the last person to begin blogging. But hopefully, I can still make it something fresh, entertaining, and useful to read. Here goes nothing!
